First we will meet for an initial interview and consultation.  There is no charge for an interview; it is an opportunity for us to get acquainted, for you to find out what we have to offer and let us address your questions.

After you have decided our services are right for you we will provide comprehensive services including the following:

Unlimited assistance by telephone or email

A 36th week visit to:

Help form a birth plan

Discuss how members of the birth team will work together

Practice positions and comfort techniques

Continual support during birth

One to two hours of assistance immediately after birth

Assistance establishing breastfeeding

Post-partum review of birth

Birth story and records from birth

24 hour on call two weeks after birth for phone assistance and up to four hours of house call assistance.

Invitations to bi-monthly informational meetings; topics to include:

Breathing and Relaxation Exercises for Labor and Birth

Second Trimester Nutrition and Exercise

Welcoming Your Second Baby

Breastfeeding - Getting Off to a Good Start

Late Pregnancy Comfort and Final Preparations

Postpartum Preparation - Making a plan for an easy start

Fees:

Our fee is $550. Half is due when you hire us, and half two weeks before your due date. This fee includes everything listed above. There is no charge for the initial interview.

We accept cash, personal checks, credit cards or PayPal. We can also arrange a monthly payment plan.

We offer a discount to parents who have used our services for a previous birth.

Some providers will cover all or part of our fee. Please contact us to find out if your provider has a payment agreement with us.
