When I gave birth to my first child I felt like Super Woman. I felt like my picture should have been on the front page of the paper "Woman Gives Birth!” I thought surely no one has ever done this before. Yet it is exactly what women have been doing since the beginning of time. Simultaneously that birth linked me to all the mothers that came before me yet gave me my own, unique story. Since then my husband, Tyler, and I have had 3 more children. All 4 births were very different but each was a life changing, joyful and spiritual experience for us. I am passionate about helping woman have positive birth experiences. The birth of our children is an event that shapes us as mothers and thus calls for us to be informed, well cared for and joyful.
